What do I get for free? |
|
All FamilyCam members are provided with their own personal FamilyCam channel as soon as they register with us. When you first register, you will be granted one free hour of video storage and you get a short sample movie that you can play with in your channel to help you understand all the main features of FamilyCam, like full-screen viewing, scene browsing, scene tagging and scene tag search.
If you like what you see, you can put your own videos into your free account as long as you store no more than one hour in total.

What if I want to store my whole home video collection? |
|
That's what we're really here for. Whether you have a couple of hours or 100 hours (or even more) home video, you can store it all in your FamilyCam account and enjoy it in your FamilyCam channel. All our account packages are competitively priced and the more you store the lower the unit price. You can start with a 5 Hour subscription and store up to 5 hours of video. As soon as you want more storage, you can upgrade in steps all the way up to 100 hours and beyond.

How are fee paying accounts charged? |
|
When you first upgrade from your free One Hour account, you will be charged for the first full year in advance. You can pay straight away online and the upgrade takes effect as soon as your payment is made.
Your first upgrade from your free One Hour account to a subscription account sets your initial subscription date and this date will then stay fixed. This means that we can remind you to renew on the same date each year and you always know where you stand.

How do I upgrade and how do you charge for upgrades? |
|
You can upgrade your account package at any time and you only pay for the proportional upgrade cost. For example, if you are six months into a 10 Hour subscription and you need to upgrade to 20 hours of storage, the upgrade cost will be £12.00 which is exactly half (6 months out of 12) of the difference between the two annual subscriptions.
We calculate upgrade costs to the nearest month so that your annual subscription renewal date remains the same as your initial subscription date. This means that we can remind you to renew on the same date each year and you always know where you stand.
