Your home video collection is precious and private for you and your family and we at FamilyCam understand this. We've built our service using secure technology to prevent any unauthorised access to our members' home movies.
With online banking, you can only access your bank accounts if you go through a secure login process. Only you can do this. It's the same with FamilyCam. Your videos can only be accessed through your FamilyCam channel and you can only open your FamilyCam channel by going through our secure member authentication process.

Protecting your Personal Information |

The entire FamilyCam web site is secured using the same kind of data encryption technology that banks use for online bank accounts. This technology (known as SSL) is also the same as that used to protect your credit card details when you buy things online.
This layer of security protects all our members' personal information, including login details, when it is being transmitted between our members' computers and our servers.

Protecting your Movies |
|

We employ another type of security technology to ensure that our members' movie collections can only be accessed through their FamilyCam channels. There is no other way to watch these movies and it is only possible to access a Familycam channel if you are the account holder or an invited guest.

Invited Guests Only |
|
|
The only exception to our security policy for movies access is that you can set up trusted Guest Groups to whom you can grant access to some or all of your videos and video categories. For example you might set up one guest group for your immediate family to watch your family videos, weddings and social events etc. and another guest group who can watch videos about shared leisure interests. It's up to you, but however many guests you invite, they must be trusted by you to keep safe the access passwords you give them.
